AGES – The Association for Graduate Education Students

The Association is run by students for students. Our goal is to provide information, networking opportunities and support for all graduate students in the Faculty of Education.

All graduate students in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria are members of AGES. This means you can attend workshops, drop in to the office to ask questions or get assistance, volunteer to be on the executive and assist with events, and most importantly share in the graduate community during your time studying at UVic.

AGES Executive Members:

Co-Presidents: William McColm & Sarah Bonsor Kurki

Membership Manager: Recruiting member participation, corresponding with members about specific issues- What do our students need/want from AGES?

Events Coordinator: Organize biweekly “drop in”, plan community building and networking activities, arrange workshops, advertising/notifying members about events

Communications:  Update the website with info related to upcoming events, post event info on the bulletin board, email listserv with news, keep What’s Happening calendar up do date

CSSE Connection: Liaison between conference people and AGES
