Zihan just let us know that the first PhD writing group meeting has been scheduled. Here are the details:
The first PhD writing group meeting for this semester will be on September 27th, 4:20-5:20 at MacLaurin Building Room D 105. The topic and discussion will be on narrative inquiry. The guest speaker will be Dr. Kathy Sanford. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at zihan@uvic.ca

AGES (Association of Graduate Education Students) is having a meeting on August 23 at noon in Mac D 281. The agenda for this meeting includes:
-Equity and diversity committee rep
-Planning for Presidential vote
-Fall orientation to work with schools
-Board by the third floor

If you are a grad student in the Faculty of Education, then you are already a member of AGES (Association of Graduate Education Students) and we want to meet you! AGES meets regularly and grad students in the faculty of education are welcome to drop in on any of our meetings.
